CABP Senior Buddhist Priest Lama Chökyi Lodü, AKA Venerable Sha'ul Justice Elk has received Vows and teaching ordination from the Center for American Buddhist Practice. He is the Spiritual Director overseeing the Blue Lotus Dharma Center and currently resides in St. Paul, MN.
He has also received teachings and vows from Venerable Master Hsing Yun (Founder of Fo Guan Shan) as well as teachings, vows, empowerments (wang) and transmissions (lung) from Lama Tsewong Sitar Rinpoché, Lama Jigmé Jinpa, Lama Pema Tenzin, H.H. Sakya Trizin, Lama Lodü Rinpoché (head of the KDK - Karma Kagyu), Lama Jigmé Tromgé Rinpoché of Padmasambhava Peace Institute, as well as Lama Chonam and Ven. Lingtrul Kadak Chöying Dorje.
He is a direct student of Lama Jigmé Jinpa, and follows MaChik Labdrön's Chöd lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.
